Alpha Phi Omega, Epsilon Zeta Chapter
National co-ed service fraternity, Epsilon Zeta Chapter at RPI. Seven officer and chair roles so far, plus mentoring incoming members through the fraternity's Big/Little system. I'm in E Tree (E6) and currently have 2 littles, Kat and Even, who are absolutely adorable, and my big is Justin, who's super awesome and fun. Everyone in APO gets a nickname, and each branch of the tree has its own theme: E6's is Greek and Roman mythology, which makes mine Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and festivities. Honestly a pretty perfect match for how outgoing and extroverted I am.
Leadership & mentorship
- Historian (Apr 2026 – Present): manage chapter historical records, overseeing the internal wiki, semesterly scrapbook, and archive preservation; produce the new-member and chapter composites each semester and maintain the chapter family-tree system.
- Archives Chair (Dec 2025 – May 2026): preserve historical chapter materials in the RPI Library archives, cataloging donated minutes, composites, and records, and coordinating archive viewing sessions.
- Recruitment Chair (Dec 2025 – May 2026): supported recruitment strategy, led interview-prep workshops and game nights, and represented the chapter to prospective members.
- Lost and Found Chair (Dec 2025 – May 2026): managed the campus-wide Lost and Found service, coordinating weekly runs, monthly inventory cleans, thrift sales, and donations to Unity House and Goodwill.
- VP of Fellowship (May 2025 – Dec 2025): planned chapter fellowship events including the annual Semiformal, and created Brotherhood Games, tracking attendance, service hours, and participation.
- New Member VP of Fellowship (Jan 2025 – May 2025): organized new-member fellowship events and the End-of-Semester Celebration.
- Big/Little Mentor: served as a "Big" across several semesters, mentoring multiple "Littles" through new-member education.
Service projects
- Camp Jewell YMCA: broke down aging wooden structures and built new campfire platforms.
- RPI Service Day: painted the garage of RPI's Student Union.
- Youth Service Day: helped organize an Easter celebration for local children; dressed as the Easter Bunny to interact with kids.
Fellowship
MBUSD Equity, Diversity, Social Justice & Inclusion Committee
Applied and was selected as one of 3 student representatives — alongside 27 adult members (teachers, parents, and administrators) — on this inaugural committee, advocating for the district's 6,000 students. Collaborated twice monthly with committee members, UCLA Center X, and CLEAR to discuss, explore, and address bias, discrimination, micro-aggressions, and stereotypes perpetuated in the school district that cause systematic oppression and impact teaching practices. Delivered 2-minute public comments, live and written, at a School Board Meeting in support of the district's EDSJI efforts, and at a Manhattan Beach City Council Meeting in support of an Anti-Hate Proclamation.
As the committee's flagship initiative, proposed, organized, marketed, and recruited for a district-wide virtual Town Hall built around the district's Inclusion Stand Up Commitment (“stand up against hate, prejudice, violence, and bullying and stand up for respect and inclusion”), held May 7, 2021, in partnership with MB Indivisible:
- Coached 12 panelists sharing personal stories of discrimination and kindness related to their identity.
- Invited local nonprofit organizations, local leadership, and city council members, plus the general public, to attend.
- Met one-on-one with the Mayor of Manhattan Beach and School Board Members, benefiting from their early mentorship.
- Reached out to thought leaders in equity to help plan the event format and design the Q&A portion.
- Recruited chat moderators and a student cybersecurity team.
- Designed and launched a marketing website for the event, mb-indivisible.org.
- Drew 90+ families to the live virtual Town Hall; uploaded the recording afterward for those who couldn't attend live (100+ YouTube views).
- Interviewed and published by multiple news outlets.

Manhattan Beach Community Church Youth Group
Selected by the Youth Director to serve on the Youth Leadership Team, organizing, publicizing, and recruiting for annual youth service events such as Habitat for Humanity and 1736 House. Elected High School Representative to the Youth Board, presenting ideas, feedback, and event outcomes to church leadership. Volunteers 10–20 hours a month, including beach cleanups, pet walking, car wash fundraisers, and church theater productions. Delivered a keynote address during a Youth-led Sunday, speaking to 200+ members about unity and equality.
