Boba: Ding Tea

Hawthorne, CA

My go-to for boba: consistently good tea and toppings, worth the drive from Manhattan Beach.

Indian Food

This one's entirely homemade: my parents and grandparents cook it, and it's better than anything I've had at a restaurant. I do my best to help out in the kitchen, and I'm always willing to cook for friends and family.

Mexican Food: La Capital Tacos

Troy, NY

The most authentic Mexico City-style tacos in Troy, my go-to since starting at RPI. When I'm not there, I'm happy to make it myself (or my family makes it) at home.

Sushi: Wasabi & Kanpai Sushi

Wasabi: Albany, NY · Kanpai Sushi: Los Angeles, CA (near LMU)

Two favorites depending where I am: Wasabi up near RPI, and Kanpai Sushi back home near LMU.

Pasta

Another homemade one: I usually make this myself, sauce and all (see also: the homemade pasta sauce on my Other Hobbies page). I do my best to get it right, and I'm always up for cooking it for friends and family.

Pizza: Joe's Pizza

Greenwich Village, NYC (7 Carmine St)

A Greenwich Village institution since 1975: classic New York slice, no notes.
